March at the Crowell Gallery

The Crowell Gallery in Newfane is extending the photographic exhibit “Across the Pond” through the month of March. The artist reception, held February 3rd, drew an appreciative audience from all over New England. “Magnificent capture! Your color patterns are beautiful. You honor and share the animals and bird kingdom of Brookline with us all!” Over 60 photographs, some as large as 20×30, “gives one the feeling of walking into summer”.

David Parker is a well known and respected educator recently retired from NewBrook Elementary School. The pond that is the focus of his photographs is a well known landmark on Grassy Brook Road, and the wild life is familiar and intimate.

David will be hosting an evening at the Crowell Thursday, March 29th, at 7 pm and invites all who are interested in wildlife photography to visit with the artist to talk and share their own experiences.
