ROAD FOREMAN’S AND ROAD COMMISSIONER’S REPORT
February 18, 2019

1. We had water running out into the blacktop in many spots all over town, these required a lot of work to get the ice off the blacktop. The rain has caused many problems.

2. I will be increasing the contents insurance at the garage, it was found to be very low.

3. I have the scope of work for the repairs on Hunter Brook Rd. I thought Wannetta may want to get it ready to go to bid while Shannon is still working.

4. We have a site for the town radio repeater on Newfane Hill, radio repair is working on the licensing from the FCC.

5. All of us are signed up for a flagging class on the 26th in Windham.

6. The new truck is having the body and equipment mounted and they are ready for us to go up and tell them where we want things mounted.

Thank You,

Jay Wilson Road Foreman
Christopher Williams Road Commissioner

SELECTBOARD INSTITUTE: We have Wannetta signed up for the Selectboard Institute on March 30. Any Selectboard members who would like to attend should let me know and I will sign them up. I’ll contact the new member coming in as well.

FIRE ALARM GRANT: We have filled out the grant application for the fire alarm at Williamsville Hall. We just need Marion to sign the application and we can send it in. It will pay for 50% of the cost of the fire alarm.
