SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT: In observance of Veterans Day, crews will be off-site on Friday, November 10.

TRAFFIC IMPACT AND DURATION: Monday, November 6, through Thursday, November 9, between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m., motorists can expect multiple traffic control packages with alternating one-way traffic on Vermont Route 30 (VT 30) throughout the project limits.

Delays are expected. Motorists are advised to add extra time to their travel schedule.

Speed limits have been reduced to 40 mph throughout the project limits. Fines are doubled for speeding within the construction zone. Motorists are advised to follow the posted speed limit and travel with caution.

CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES: Crews are anticipated to complete paving driveway aprons along VT 30 this week, weather permitting.

Next week, throughout the project area, crews will complete painting along the main line, side roads, and crosswalks. Crews will continue to conduct signage work, replace or reset mailboxes, and complete punch list items. In Dummerston, crews will install plug joints on Bridge #9 over the Rock River. All work is weather-dependent.

LOCATION: Beginning at Cedar Street (mile marker 0.311) in Brattleboro and extending north for approximately 10 miles to just north of Brook Street (mile marker 1.623) in Newfane on Vermont Route 30.

PROJECTED COMPLETION: Fall 2023
