STP 2940(1) [VT Route 30 Reclamation Project]

TRAFFIC IMPACT AND DURATION: Saturday, August 12, and continuing Monday, August 14, through Friday, August 18, between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m., motorists can expect multiple traffic control packages with alternating one-way traffic on Vermont Route 30 (VT 30) throughout the project limits.
Delays are expected. Motorists are advised to add extra time to their travel schedule.
Speed limits have been reduced to 40 mph throughout the project limits. Fines are doubled for speeding within the construction zone. Motorists are advised to follow the posted speed limit and travel with caution as there are various roadway surfaces throughout the project limits, including gravel roadway.
Motorists should anticipate adverse road conditions during and after rainfall and should also expect the presence of grading equipment on the road following storm events.
CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES: Crews will continue berm removal and guardrail installation in Brattleboro, moving north toward Dummerston. Crews will pave the base course of asphalt on the northern five-mile stretch of VT 30, beginning in Dummerston and continuing north toward Newfane. All work is weather dependent.
LOCATION: Beginning at Cedar Street (mile marker 0.311) in Brattleboro and extending north for approximately 10 miles to just north of Brook Street (mile marker 1.623) in Newfane on Vermont Route 30.
