STP 2940(1) [VT Route 30 Reclamation Project]

TRAFFIC IMPACT AND DURATION: Monday, July 17, through Friday, July 21, from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., motorists can expect two traffic control packages with alternating one-way traffic on Vermont Route 30 (VT 30) throughout the project limits.
Delays are expected. Motorists are advised to add extra time to their travel schedule.
Speed limits have been reduced to 40 mph throughout the project limits. Fines are doubled for speeding within the construction zone. Motorists are advised to follow the posted speed limit and travel with caution as there are various roadway surfaces throughout the project limits, including gravel roadway.
Motorists should anticipate adverse road conditions during and after rainfall and should also expect the presence of grading equipment on the road following storm events.
CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES: Crews will continue fine grading beginning near the covered bridge in Dummerston and moving north towards Newfane. Crews will continue paving the intermediate course of pavement in Brattleboro moving north. All work is weather dependent.
