TRAFFIC IMPACT AND DURATION:
SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT: In observance of the Independence Day holiday (Fourth of July), crews will be offsite today, Friday, June 30, by 7:00 p.m. and will return Wednesday, July 5, at 7:00 a.m.
TRAFFIC IMPACT AND DURATION: Wednesday, July 5, through Friday, July 7, from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., motorists can expect multiple traffic control packages with alternating one-way traffic on Vermont Route 30 (VT 30) throughout the project limits.
Delays are expected. Motorist are advised to add extra time to their travel schedule.
Speed limits have been reduced to 40 mph throughout the project limits. Fines are doubled for speeding within the construction zone. Motorists are advised to follow the posted speed limit and travel with caution as there are various roadway surfaces throughout the project limits, including gravel roadway.
CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES: Crews will continue fine grading in the Town of Dummerston, near Stickney Brook Road, and will progress north towards Newfane. Crews will begin paving the intermediate course of pavement beginning from the start of the project limits in Brattleboro and continuing north. Crews may also be on site to complete ledge removal and clean up activities. All work is weather dependent.
LOCATION: Beginning at Cedar Street (mile marker 0.311) in Brattleboro and extending north for approximately 10 miles to just north of Brook Street (mile marker 1.623) in Newfane on Vermont Route 30.
