STP 2940(1) [VT Route 30 Reclamation Project]

TRAFFIC IMPACT AND DURATION: Monday, October 2, through Friday, October 6, between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m., motorists can expect shoulder closures and three to four traffic control packages with alternating one-way traffic on Vermont Route 30 (VT 30) throughout the project limits.
Delays are expected. Motorists are advised to add extra time to their travel schedule.
Speed limits have been reduced to 40 mph throughout the project limits. Fines are doubled for speeding within the construction zone. Motorists are advised to follow the posted speed limit and travel with caution.
CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES: Crews will continue to pave the final wearing course of pavement in Brattleboro and progress north along VT 30. The paving operation will cover approximately 1.75 miles of roadway. Two crews will continue to install guardrail in Dummerston, approaching the Newfane town line. Crews will be working just off the shoulder of VT 30, installing new posts for signage. Berm removal, topsoil, and curb work will also take place. All work is weather dependent.

LOCATION: Beginning at Cedar Street (mile marker 0.311) in Brattleboro and extending north for approximately 10 miles to just north of Brook Street (mile marker 1.623) in Newfane on Vermont Route 30.
