CALL TO ORDER: The meeting was called to order at 6:01 p.m. by Chair Lawley.

CONFIRM PROPERLY WARNED: Confirmed by Melissa Brown

NEW SOCIAL APPROPRIATION REQUEST: Thom Simmons from Meals on Wheels (Network Connections) came to discuss requesting an appropriation in the amount of $1500.00.  Since they are first-time applicants, they were required to come in front of the board. A packet was given to the board on information on what they provide for meals and services to the Newfane Residents.  Dowling made a motion to accept the application, Cleverly seconded.  Motion passed unanimously.

OTHER BUSINESS: Kate Gehring from Planning Commission joined via zoom to answer any questions on the grant which was being submitted.  No questions from the Selectboard. A motion was made by Johnson-Aplin to appoint Cleverly to be Alternate Authorizing Official for any grant related questions, Dowling seconded.  Motion passed.

NEW BUSINESS:

Fiscal Year 2027 Budget Preparation:

Dedication- Board was given a list of past recipients of the dedication.  A vote will be made in future meetings on who will receive the dedication.

Town Report Design- Brown and Bristol will be putting together this year’s town report book.

General Fund Revenues and General Government Expenditures were started by the board.

Discussion on reviews needing to be completed prior to some of the budgets.

Cleverly made a motion to adjourn. Dowling seconded. The meeting was adjourned at 7:44 p.m.
