STP 2940(1) [VT Route 30 Reclamation Project]

TRAFFIC IMPACT AND DURATION: Saturday, September 16, and continuing Monday, September 18, through Friday, September 22, between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m., motorists can expect three to four traffic control packages with alternating one-way traffic on Vermont Route 30 (VT 30) throughout the project limits.
Delays are expected. Motorists are advised to add extra time to their travel schedule.
Speed limits have been reduced to 40 mph throughout the project limits. Fines are doubled for speeding within the construction zone. Motorists are advised to follow the posted speed limit and travel with caution.
CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES: Crews will pave the intermediate course of pavement in Dummerston this Saturday, September 16, and continue north toward Newfane throughout next week.
Throughout the week, multiple crews will continue to install guardrail in Dummerston and begin to install signage at the southern end of the project in Brattleboro. Crews who have been conducting berm removal in Newfane will return to the section of VT 30 in Dummerston to complete the remaining berm removal work. Crews are anticipated to continue sidewalk work in Brattleboro. All work is weather dependent.

LOCATION: Beginning at Cedar Street (mile marker 0.311) in Brattleboro and extending north for approximately 10 miles to just north of Brook Street (mile marker 1.623) in Newfane on Vermont Route 30.
