The Town of Newfane is marking a significant milestone as we announce the retirement of our esteemed Zoning Administrator, Merle Tessier. With mixed emotions, we celebrated his 12 years of dedicated service at a luncheon on June 18th.

Due to Merle’s declining health, he has decided to pass the torch to his diligently trained replacement, Katy Bristol. We are confident that Katy will continue the excellent work for Newfane, ensuring a smooth transition.

We anticipate Merle’s last day to be [June 27th]. However, he has plans to wrap up several open projects before his departure, ensuring a seamless transition for the Town of Newfane.
